About IACCS
Subsequent to the advent of community-based integrated screening model in Taiwan around early 2000s that is our locomotive for initiating IACCS, we have had several successful specific screening models developed for different cancers in different countries. Several classical examples are worthy of being emphasized, these include high-risk model for colorectal cancer screening in Singapore, alternative imaging technique such ultrasound screening for breast cancer in Japan, integrated chronic disease prevention within cancer screening in Korea, population-based randomized controlled trial on fecal immunochemical test (FIT) in Thailand, new oral cancer prevention modes in Malaysia and Taiwan.
We have had great time in each venue of our IACCS on different occasions over the past decade including Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Korea, Indonesia (Bali). We have also exchanged and shared the experiences of cancer screening already executed or in the stage of planning in each of country.
